Aparna Acharekar

Aparna Acharekar is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in content strategy and digital media. As Co-Founder of coto since June 2021, Aparna has focused on empowering women through entrepreneurship and community engagement. Previously, as OTT Content Programming Head at ZEE5 from October 2018 to April 2021, Aparna led a 15-member team in the commissioning of over 130 premium original series and movies, significantly contributing to ZEE5's recognition as a leading producer of original content in India. With prior roles including VP - Content Head for dittoTV and OZEE, and positions at Digital Media Convergence Ltd and The Times of India, Aparna has demonstrated a strong aptitude for content acquisition, strategic planning, and team leadership throughout a diverse career. Academic credentials include a Post Graduate Diploma in E-Business and a PG Diploma in Communication and Media Development, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Microbiology from the University of Mumbai.
