Shand Wentworth

Shand Wentworth is an experienced medical social worker with a strong background in meeting the social needs of patients, caregivers, and families. Currently, Shand holds positions at Cottage Hospital and Ray of Hope since August 2020, while having previously worked for various healthcare organizations such as Southwest Florida Home Care, VNA Health Care, Trilogy Home Health Care, and Bay Front Home Health. Prior roles include serving as a receptionist at Manorcare Health Services and long-term support counselor at New Hampshire Film Bureau, where Shand facilitated caregiver support groups. Additionally, Shand worked as a Military Family Life Consultant with Behavioral Health Network, Inc., providing targeted support for military families. Shand holds a Master of Social Work from Boston University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Springfield College.
