Katharine Norregaard

Katharine Norregaard has extensive experience in special education, currently serving as a Special Education Teacher at Cotting School since September 2016. Previous roles include Special Education Teacher at ACCEPT Education Collaborative from July 2014 to June 2016 and Paraprofessional at Joseph Lee K-8 School from September 2013 to June 2014. Norregaard has expertise in formal and informal academic testing, developing and implementing individual education and behavioral support plans, and data collection for academic and behavioral progress. Academic qualifications include a Master of Education in Teacher of the Visually Impaired from UMass Boston (expected May 2025), a Master of Science in Special Education for Severe Disabilities from Simmons College (2014), and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and Behavior from Simmons College (2013).
