Nicole Pfeiffer has a diverse work experience that spans over several companies. Nicole began their career at Procter & Gamble in 1998 as an Account Executive, where they successfully managed a portfolio of health, beauty, and feminine care products. Nicole continued their career at Maytag in 2002 as a Brand Management & Market Research MBA Intern.
In 2004, Nicole joined Cottingham & Butler as the Director of Marketing, where they worked closely with the Executive Leadership Team to drive progress and efficiency in corporate marketing, sales management, and external communications. Nicole then moved into the role of Vice President, Human Resources in 2006, where they worked with the Executive Leadership team to execute the firm's strategic plan by attracting, developing, retaining, and deploying human talent. Nicole was responsible for various aspects of human resources, including recruiting, training and development, employee relations, employee benefits, and compensation.
In 2013, Nicole was promoted to Vice President, Employee Benefits Sales Executive at Cottingham & Butler, where they currently lead the sales team in driving growth and profitably serving clients.
Nicole Pfeiffer, SPHR, SHRM-SCP, GBA, CMS, completed their education starting from high school and progressing to earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from the University of Iowa between 1993 and 1998. Their fields of study were Mathematics and Business Administration. Later, they pursued an MBA degree with a concentration in Marketing and Strategic Management from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business between 2001 and 2003.
In addition to their education, Nicole Pfeiffer holds several certifications. Nicole obtained the Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) in July 2011. Nicole also achieved the Compensation Management Specialist (CMS) certification from the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) in September 2015. Furthermore, they obtained the Group Benefit Associate (GBA) certification from the IFEBP in March 2015. Most recently, they obtained the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) in December 2015.
