Cheryl Reecher has a comprehensive work experience in various leadership roles. Cheryl started their career in 1992 as the Director of Risk Management at Sun World International, LLC and served in that position until 1998. From 1999 to 2002, they worked as the Director of Risk Management at e.spire Communications, Inc., where they managed the corporate insurance program and oversaw surety bond programs, claims, and litigation. In 2003, Cheryl joined Marsh, Inc. as a Senior Vice President, where they led service teams, developed client-specific solutions, and partnered with clients' Risk Management Departments. Cheryl worked at Marsh until 2011. Afterwards, Cheryl became the Managing Director for DC/MD/VA Territories at AIG in 2012. In this role, they were responsible for overall operations, business strategies, talent development, and broker and client relationships. Most recently, Cheryl Reecher joined Cotton Holdings Inc. as the Vice President of Business Development in 2020.
Cheryl Reecher has an Associate of Arts degree in Paralegal from Hagerstown Business College. Cheryl also holds an Associate in Risk Management degree from the Insurance Institute of America, with a focus on Risk Transfer, Risk Finance, and Risk Control. In June 2020, Cheryl obtained the certification of RIMS Associate Member from RIMS (Risk and Insurance Management Society, Inc.).
