Darren Bakay

Darren Bakay currently serves as the Head of Global Talent Acquisition at Couchbase, a company focused on simplifying the development and deployment of modern applications through its cloud database platform, Capella. Prior experience includes leading talent functions at Cold Start, where Darren established the first executive recruiting function and hired multiple founders for new incubations, and at Capsule, where Darren significantly expanded talent acquisition from 65 to 1700 employees, developing a comprehensive recruiting strategy and team. Additional roles at Zocdoc, Flatiron Health, Amazon, and Experis further demonstrate a strong background in technical recruiting and strategy development.
