Philippa Watts

Philippa Watts is an experienced professional in the field of disabled children's services, currently serving as Programme Lead (Health) at the Council for Disabled Children since September 2017, where key responsibilities include managing the DBOT programme and providing training to enhance outcomes for disabled children. Philippa has also held positions such as Senior Programmes Officer (Health) and Development Officer (Participation), focusing on initiatives that empower disabled children to influence government policy and improve local authority practices. Prior experience includes coordinating a Young Advisers project at Advocacy for All and supporting a Children's Rights Capacity Development Project with Child to Child, along with roles in education as an Early Years Assistant and private tutor. Philippa holds an MA in Global Development and Education and a BA in French and History from the University of Leeds.
