Aaron Fettgather

Aaron Fettgather is an accomplished professional in educational policy and program management, currently serving as Senior Associate at the Council of Chief State School Officers since December 2021. In this role, Aaron has successfully led the development of critical Covid-19 updates and the "Federal Liaison Update" newsletter, significantly increasing engagement. Previously, at the National School Boards Association, Aaron specialized in member services and professional development, while at Parcc Inc., high-quality K-12 assessments were developed in collaboration with various stakeholders. Aaron also managed the K-12 portfolio for the British Council, leading educational exchanges and policy dialogues with key governmental entities. Educational qualifications include an MBA from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School, an MA in Political Science from The Johns Hopkins University, and a BA in Political Science and History from American University.
