Laura Prevatt

Laura Prevatt has a diverse work experience spanning different organizations and roles. Starting in 2005, they worked as the Director of Membership at Cannon Memorial YMCA, where they developed membership recruitment and retention plans and oversaw daily operations. From 2007 to 2011, they served as the Assistant Director of Membership at Girl Scouts, Hornets' Nest Council, where they developed and implemented a strategic plan for girl and adult recruitment and retention. Laura then joined Crisis Assistance Ministry as the Partner Relations Manager, where they developed strategic community partnerships to strengthen poverty-fighting programs. Since 2014, they have been working at Council of Community Services, initially as the Contact Center Director of Operations for 2-1-1 Virginia, and currently as the Human Resources Director, overseeing 22 contact center staff.

Laura Prevatt studied English and Philosophy at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Laura later pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Management at the University of Phoenix. The exact start and end years for each education program are not provided.
