Jana Čalovska Jauffret

Jana Čalovska Jauffret has a strong background in human resources and organizational management. Jana is currently serving as the Head of Human Resources at the Council of Europe Development Bank, a position they have held since June 2023. Prior to this role, they worked at the Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative (DNDi) as the Director of Human Resources and Organization, where they acted as a Senior HR Business Partner and led the global HR function and team across all DNDi locations. Jana was responsible for designing and implementing the DNDi People Strategy. Before DNDi, they held senior positions at the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), including Senior Director of Human Resources and Program Operations, and Senior Manager of Governance and Strategic Partnerships. Jana started their career at the International Organization for Migration (IOM) as the Secretary of the Staff Association.

Jana Čalovska Jauffret has a Professional Certificate in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Harvard University. Jana also holds an Executive MBA in International Management from the University of Geneva. Additionally, they have a License Universitaire in Sciences de Gestion (Department of Economics-Finance) from Université Grenoble Alpes. Jana earned their BA in Business Administration with an Emphasis in Economics from Webster University Geneva.
