Farah Assiraj is an accomplished educator and leader with extensive experience in teaching and learning across various educational organizations. Currently serving as Chief of Teaching and Learning at the Council of the Great City Schools, Farah also founded and serves as CEO of cairEDucation Consulting, focusing on culture, access, inclusion, race, equity, and diversity. Farah's previous roles include Deputy Chief Academic Officer and Assistant Superintendent for Multilingual and Multicultural Education at Boston Public Schools, and Upper School Director/Principal at Boston Renaissance Charter Public School. Additionally, Farah has a rich teaching background and has held several positions in Boston Public Schools, including ESL and ELA teacher. Farah's educational credentials include a Doctor of Education Leadership from Harvard Graduate School of Education and a Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language from Simmons University.
