Stephanie Kennedy

Stephanie C. Kennedy, PhD, MSW is currently the Policy Director at Council on Criminal Justice, providing research for bipartisan task forces to develop policy solutions on criminal justice issues. Prior to this, Stephanie C. served as the Director of Research Dissemination at the Institute for Justice Research and Development, where Stephanie C. created research products and guides for various audiences. With a background as an Assistant Professor at the University of Connecticut, Stephanie's research focused on trauma, incarceration, and disparities within the justice system. As a Legacy Fellow at Florida State University, Stephanie C. explored the intersection of homelessness, victimization, mental health, and criminal justice for women.
