Senior Fellow For Digital And Cyberspace Policy at Council on Foreign Relations

Kat Duffy serves as a Senior Fellow for Digital and Cyberspace Policy at the Council on Foreign Relations since August 2023. Duffy is the Founder and CEO of RightsDuff Strategies LLC, a consultancy focused on technology strategies for non-profits and companies. Key roles include Advisory Board Member at Connect Humanity, Director of the Task Force for a Trustworthy Future Web at the Digital Forensic Research Lab (DFRLab), and Senior Visiting Fellow at the Atlantic Council's Technology and Democracy Initiative. Duffy's past positions include Vice President of Global Technology Programs at Internews Network and various board roles with the Global Network Initiative and Atlas Corps. Duffy holds a Bachelor's Degree from Yale University, a Juris Doctor from the University of Michigan, and is pursuing executive education at Harvard Business School.
