Adam Philipson

Adam Philipson is the CEO and President of the Count Basie Center for the Arts. Adam was previously the Assistant Director at Broad Stage, where they helped to build the iconic community theatre in Santa Monica. Adam has a wealth of experience in fundraising, producing events and establishing infrastructure, which they have used to great effect in launching the new $47 million venue at the Count Basie Center for the Arts.

Adam Philipson has a MAOM from Antioch University in Leadership and Arts Management and a BA from UCLA in Sociology/Urban Studies and Conflict Resolution Program.

Karen Franklin - Chief Financial Officer, Jonathan E. Vena - Chief Marketing Officer, and Izzy Sackowitz - Chief Operating Officer report to Adam Philipson.
