Seasoned Product Architect and self-professed cybersecurity geek, Fernando Braquehais is the Head of Development at CounterCraft. Braquehais co-founded the startup business with colleagues David Barroso and Daniel Brett in 2015. An expert in developing automated threat detection tools, he specializes in solutions designed to protect banking and critical infrastructure.

Braquehais possesses a strong background as a product architect of scalable, high-performance, and high-availability systems. He’s curious by nature and is admired for his extensive personal library, dedicated to resources on innovation in software development. Before CounterCraft, Braquehais worked for a world-leading German enterprise software company as a developer and led multiple product innovation projects at a European pure-play cybersecurity company.
