Prajwal Shah

Prajwal Shah is a multifaceted software engineer and project lead with extensive experience in developing high-performance financial applications and innovative predictive models. Currently serving as a Software Engineer Intern at Countercyclical and as a Project Lead at Boiler Quant Finance Group, Prajwal has spearheaded the development of the 'finmath' library and improved commodity futures trading models, achieving significant enhancements in predictive accuracy and hedging efficiency. Previous roles include an undergraduate data science and machine learning researcher at AbbVie, a software engineer at Autonomous Motorsports Purdue, and a founding software engineer at Accendre, where Prajwal led the development of a workout program app that doubled the user base. Prajwal holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from Purdue University and has a background in computer science and business from Naperville Central High School, along with additional education in quantum physics from the University of Chicago.
