Emily Hughes

Emily Hughes has a diverse background in HR management and office administration. Emily most recently worked at Countingup, where they established the HR function and People proposition for the company. Prior to that, they were the HR Manager at Kentec Electronics, responsible for delivering HR services to a large staff. Emily also had a role at Bell Pottinger as an HR Manager, where they provided end-to-end HR services to the international staffing group and worked on complex employee relations issues. Before that, they were an Office Manager and HR Assistant at Bell Pottinger, overseeing generalist HR functions and change management projects. Earlier in their career, Emily worked as a PA and Marketing Assistant at The Junction and as a Planning and Office Manager with Events at the National Theatre.

Emily Hughes completed their education at various institutions. In 1998, they enrolled in Loughborough University and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Media and Communications in 2001. Later in 2015 and 2016, they pursued CIPD Qualifications and completed the CIPD Intermediate Diploma in Human Resource Management (Level 5). Lastly, in 2020 and 2021, they attended ILM and achieved the ILM Level 5 in Leadership and Management, focusing on Leadership and Management as their field of study.
