Hayley Merry

Hayley Merry has over 20 years of work experience in procurement and purchasing roles. Hayley is currently the Director of Procurement at County Broadband, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Procurement Manager at the same company starting in July 2019. From 2012 to 2019, Hayley worked at Chief Industries, Inc. as a Buyer & Stock Controller, overseeing inventory control and resolving discrepancies with suppliers. Before that, they served as a Purchasing Manager at STV Construction Group Ltd, where they developed the purchasing department and negotiated contracts with suppliers. Hayley also has experience as an Assistant Buyer at Skanska Balfour Beatty M25 Joint Venture and as a Buyer at OCL Facades Ltd. Hayley began their career as an Administrator at Stock Brook Golf and Country Club and later worked as an Order Processing Clerk at Allison Engineering Ltd.

Hayley Merry attended Laindon High School from 1995 to 2005. During this time, they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. In 2000, Hayley also attended Basildon ITEC, where they completed the National Traineeship for Administration NVQ Level 2. Hayley then went on to enroll in CIPS - The Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply, where they are currently pursuing CIPS Level 2.
