Lauren Swern

Lauren Swern has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Lauren is currently working as an Expert Advisor at The Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership (IFEL) since November 2021. Prior to this, they founded Motivational Moments LLC in August 2021, where they provided career motivation, recruitment assistance, and custom creative ideas for virtual events. From November 2011, Lauren worked as Lead Adjunct Instructor at County College of Morris, offering interactive virtual workshops and certificate programs. From May 2013, they served as the Development Director at New Jersey Highlands Coalition, advocating for environmental resources. In 2021, Lauren worked as a Fundraising Coach at Get Fully Funded - Nonprofit Fundraising Solutions, training nonprofits in donor-based fundraising. From 2014 to 2022, they served as an Administrative Assistant at Holistic Moms Network, promoting holistic and green living. Additionally, Lauren worked as a Marketing Office Professional at Thrivent from April 2017 to December 2021, and as Event Staff at Qtego Fundraising Services from June 2014 to July 2018. Lauren also gained experience as a Part-Time Evening Library Assistant at Wharton Public Library from April 2016 to October 2017, and as a Social Media Director at Essex Golf Driving Range from July 2013 to February 2016.

Lauren Swern attended Curry College from 1993 to 1997, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Business Administration and Management. During their time at Curry College, they also briefly studied Business Administration and Management at West Chester University of Pennsylvania and County College of Morris in 1995 and 1996, respectively. In 2001, Lauren Swern enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Technology, majoring in Marketing/Marketing Management, General, though their degree status is not specified. Lauren also studied Sociology and Anthropology at Richmond, The American International University in London starting in 1995.
