Shannon Walker-Smith

Shannon Walker-Smith currently serves as the Deputy Community Development Administrator for the County of Lake since July 2023. Prior to this role, Shannon held various positions at Sonoma State University from October 2007 to July 2023, including Director of TRIO Training and Director of Upward Bound, Lake County Programs. Shannon's career also includes a significant tenure as Program Director at the Lake County Office of Education from July 1997 to October 2007. Academically, Shannon earned a Master's Degree in Education from Concordia University between 1999 and 2001 and a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development from California State University, Chico from 1993 to 1997, following graduation from Kelseyville High School in 1993.
