Tyler Meick

Tyler Meick currently serves as the Emergency Medical Services Coordinator for the County of San Diego, a position held since August 2022. Prior experience includes serving as the Program Director at REACH Air Medical Services from April 2018 to February 2023, overseeing operations in Imperial and San Diego Counties, and as a Shift Commander at Rural/Metro Corporation from October 2013 to April 2018. Tyler also worked as a BLS/CPR/First Aid Instructor for the American Heart Association from July 2015 to August 2017. Earlier in the career, Tyler was a Paramedic and Operations Supervisor at Gerber Ambulance Services and served as a Paid-Call Firefighter for the City of Manhattan Beach. Educational qualifications include ongoing studies in Health Care Administration at Western Governors University and completion of the State Fire Marshal Firefighter 1 Academy at The El Camino Fire Academy, along with a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technology from El Camino College and a Paramedic license from the Paramedic Training Institute.
