Tyler Moran, LMFT, has extensive experience in mental health and substance abuse counseling, currently serving as the Chief Mental Health Clinician at the County of San Joaquin since April 2014. In this role, Tyler manages a caseload of clients on AB109 community supervision, collaborates with probation and medical staff for community re-entry services, and conducts both individual and group counseling sessions. Prior to this, Tyler held various positions as a Substance Abuse Counselor in inpatient treatment settings, emphasizing case management and communication with legal liaisons. Additionally, Tyler has experience in marketing and communications as the Director at Central California Safety Council, where responsibilities included leading counseling sessions for DUI programs and creating educational materials. Educational qualifications include a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from National University and a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Santa Clara University. Tyler is also a Registered Addiction Specialist through Breining Institute.
