Chrl Michael Wright

Michael Wright, CHRL, is a seasoned Human Resources professional with extensive experience across various organizations. Currently serving as the Strategic HR Business Partner for the County of Simcoe since July 2023, Michael has previously held HR Business Partner roles at Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care and Orillia Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital, where responsibilities included overseeing HR functions and collaborating with multiple departments to support significant staff populations. Prior experience includes managing staffing at Casino Rama Careers and a progression of roles in customer service and research analysis, culminating in foundational HR roles such as Assistant and Co-op positions. Michael holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Human Resources Management from Georgian College and a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Queen's University.
