Ben Gerber

Ben Gerber is an accomplished professional in the fields of information security and privacy, currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Coupang since August 2016. With a diverse background, Ben previously held significant roles, including Chief Privacy Officer (CPO) at the International Association of Privacy Professionals and Global Privacy Officer at Standard Chartered Bank, where Ben developed the bank's first global privacy function. Notable experience also includes serving as Principal Privacy & Security Strategist at MITRE and leading privacy services at IBM Security and Privacy Services. Ben holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in Information Rights Law and Practice, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
