Leonard Edlund

Leonard Edlund serves as the Assistant Principal for Coupeville School District since July 2021, overseeing middle and high school operations, as well as acting as the District CTE Director and engaging in grant writing. Previously, Leonard was the School Principal at Ajo Unified District, where responsibilities included leading CTE programs, managing professional development, and developing COVID-19 response plans. As the founding Principal at Valor Preparatory Academy, Leonard oversaw the construction of the school and implemented numerous educational programs. Leonard also held positions as Assistant Principal in Tacoma Public Schools, where efforts were focused on digital curriculum implementation and diversity initiatives, and as a real estate agent for Dove Realty. Earlier experiences include teaching math, administration roles at several schools, and significant involvement in student recruitment and community relations.
