Gefen Skolnick

Gefen Skolnick is the founder and CEO of Couplet Coffee, a coffee company based in Los Angeles, CA. Gefen has a long history of working in startups and venture capital, and has been involved in some of the most successful companies in Silicon Valley. Gefen got their start as an engineer, working as a City Fellow for the City of San Francisco. Gefen then transitioned into venture capital, first as a Lead Venture Partner at Contrary, and then as an Early Career Fellow at the Center for Diverse Leadership in Science. In July 2020, Gefen left their position at the Center to become the Head of Operations at Envision Accelerator, where they worked for one month before joining itiswhatitis.fm as Chief Gay. Gefen's work at itiswhatitis.fm led to the company raising $200,000 for various charities, and they were featured in articles on Forbes and TechCrunch. Gefen left itiswhatitis.fm in August 2020 to focus on their work at Couplet Coffee.

Gefen Skolnick holds a Linguistics & Computer Science degree from the University of California, Los Angeles and an Associate's Degree in Computer Science from Santa Monica College.
