Ilsza Williams

Ilsza Williams, LCPC, CADC (Heredy) is a clinical therapist at Courage to Connect Mental Health Center since September 2022, with previous experience as a behavioral health clinician at Primary Care Psychology Associates and an individual and group therapist at SunCloud Health. Ilsza has worked in various roles, including primary counselor at Millennium Counseling Center and recovery support specialist at Family Guidance Centers, where skills in motivational interviewing and relapse prevention were utilized. A clinical psychology intern at Way Back Inn and a clinical volunteer at Gilda's Club Chicago, Ilsza has engaged with diverse populations, providing support to children and families. Ilsza holds a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology specializing in addiction from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a BA in Psychology with a minor in Education from the University of California, Berkeley. Areas of interest include substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, trauma, and interpersonal difficulties, with an eclectic therapeutic approach tailored to individual client needs.
