Shawn Rossouw

Shawn Rossouw has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Shawn started their career as an Attorney at Louw & Deysel Attorneys from February 2006 to April 2007. Shawn then worked as a General Manager at Foto First Knysna from May 2007 to March 2014. Following that, they worked as a Project Manager at Jam Factory Advertising from March 2014 to January 2015. Shawn also served as an SEO Executive and Network Administrator at Magnetic Creative from January 2015 to October 2015.

In 2015, they joined CXHSE/Safeworks as a Health and Safety Specialist, a role they held until January 2019. During this time, they also ventured into freelance work as a Web Developer from October 2016 to January 2019. Shawn provided web development services including setting up appointments with clients, creating wireframes, and designing layouts.

From January 2019 to January 2021, Shawn worked as a Web Developer at Magnetic Creative, where they attended client and team meetings and documented website requirements. In 2021, they transitioned to a Frontend Web Developer role at OrderIn from January to June, Codilation from July to October, and Course Studio from October onwards. In these positions, they participated in team meetings, discussed website requirements, reviewed designs, and ensured optimal accessibility and usability.

Shawn Rossouw completed their high school education at High School Colesberg from 1994 to 1998. Shawn then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at the University of Stellenbosch, graduating in 2003.

In terms of additional certifications, Shawn obtained the "Intro to SAMTRAC" certificate from NOSA in October 2015 and the "SAMTRAC" certificate from the same institution in December 2015. Shawn also obtained a certification in "Agency Project Management" from the Red and Yellow School of Logic and Magic in June 2014. Lastly, Shawn achieved the "Hubspot CMS for Developers" certification from HubSpot in August 2019.
