Matt Wald

Matt Wald is the current President & CEO at Covail. Prior to this, they were the Vice President, Corporate Development at IntelePeer Cloud Communications from January 2013 to December 2015. In this role, they were responsible for leading strategy development and acquisition planning to facilitate entry into the cloud-based contact center market. Some of their notable accomplishments include solidifying CEO approval to negotiate deal terms for acquisition targets and delivering deal structure recommendations, which led to acquisition that paved way for entry into the hosted contact center business.

Before joining IntelePeer Cloud Communications, Matt Wald was a Founding Partner at Context Advisory Group from January 2006 to December 2013. As a founding partner, they were responsible for partnering with emerging and innovative companies to drive effective market positioning, establish high-performing operational infrastructures, and develop growth and investment strategies. During their time there, they were able to accomplish accelerating funding for early-stage startups, serving on start-up eCommerce software company board and helping to steer $20M exit, advising organizations on commercialization strategy, and leveraging collaboration to accelerate market entry and innovation.
