Ori Kedar has a diverse work experience in various fields. Currently, they are working as a Robotics Software Engineer at Covariant since November 2020. Prior to this, they worked at Nourish Technology Inc. from October 2017 to September 2020, where they served as a Lead Software Engineer. In this role, they developed robotics software and operated a fully automated robotic cafe on the UC Berkeley campus. They implemented automated control systems and integrated third-party control libraries for industrial appliances, digital sensors, robotic arms, and more. Additionally, they built computer vision solutions utilizing Convolutional Neural Networks for classification of process errors.
Before joining Nourish Technology Inc., Ori worked as a Robotics Researcher at the Creative Machines Lab from September 2016 to May 2017. They also gained experience as a Robotics Engineering Intern at Capper & Associates in the summer of 2016.
Ori's work experience also includes a role as a Research and Design Intern at Smash Solar, Inc. from April 2015 to July 2015. They also worked as a Field Installer at Skytech Solar-A SF Bay Area Solar Company from July 2014 to April 2015.
In addition to their technical roles, Ori worked as a Laboratory Assistant at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem in June and July 2013. They have also worked as a Private Tutor at TSC Academics from November 2012 to March 2013.
Ori Kedar obtained their high school education from the American School in London between the years 2004 and 2008. Ori further pursued their education at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from 2008 to 2012. Later, they attended Columbia University from 2015 to 2017, where they obtained a Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
