Cheryl Hoskins

Cheryl Hoskins has a long and varied work history. Cheryl began their career in 1997 as a Civil Engineer at American Consulting Engineers. In 1998 they moved to Aon, where they worked as a Software Developer and Unit Manager. During this time they were responsible for supporting production software managing medical benefits, pensions, and 401(k) plans for employees of large companies. In 2001, they took an employment gap to focus on family. In 2010, they became Co-Owner of MasterGreek.com, a web app to allow students of Greek to practice parsing Greek words. Cheryl also worked as a Software Developer at Applied Computer Resources, where they were responsible for maintenance and improvements to collision shop estimating software. In 2016, they worked as a Full Stack Developer at Toptal and as a SQL Developer at inMotionNow. Cheryl then worked as a Lead Software Developer at OpenZNet, Inc., where they were a Full Stack architect and developer for ATSC 3.0 next-generation TV app startup. Currently, they are a Software Developer at Covenant Eyes and a Full Stack Engineer at EasySet | Easy Security Templates. In this role, they are responsible for exporting reports from Mongo database to Google Docs via Google Docs API, using AWS S3 to upload and retrieve images, and analyzing and implementing efficiency enhancements on data retrieval, all using Node.js, Meteor, and MongoDB.

Cheryl Hoskins' education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Cornell University from 1991 to 1993, followed by a Master of Engineering in Structural Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Louisville from 1996 to 1997.
