Peng-Chhay Ung

Peng-Chhay Ung is a Senior Software Engineer at Coventor, Inc., a Lam Research Company, since October 2021, specializing in the development of SEMulator3D, a modeling and simulation software for semiconductor fabrication processes. Previous experience includes roles as a Developer and Applied Mathematics Engineer at Thales, where software for simulating heat transfer in printed circuit boards was developed, and as an R&D Java Development Engineer at JUMP, focusing on asset management business software. Prior to that, Peng-Chhay worked at COMSOL, Inc., where contributions were made to COMSOL Multiphysics, and began with an internship during which a numerical method for microperiodic composite materials was developed. Peng-Chhay holds an Engineer's Degree in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics from the National School of Computer Science and Applied Mathematics of Grenoble, along with additional studies at the National University of Singapore and in scientific preparatory classes at Lycée Fénelon. Proficiencies include C++ and Python.
