Kate Hughes

Kate Hughes has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several positions and industries. Kate is currently the Chief Human Resources Officer at Cover-More Group. Prior to this, they held various roles at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd, including Group Head of Employee Experience, Diversity & Wellbeing, Group Head of Organizational Effectiveness, and Group Head of Diversity & Inclusion. Before joining Zurich, Kate was the Owner & Founder of Latitude Consulting AG, where they focused on helping businesses improve their performance and culture. Kate also worked at Westpac and Westpac Institutional Bank, holding positions such as Head of Culture, HR Strategy & Strategic Workforce Planning and General Manager Human Resources. Kate started their career at Attorney General's Department, where they held various positions, including graduate recruitment manager & L&D Specialist.

Kate Hughes received a BA in Office Management from the University of Canberra, where they studied from 1990 to 1992. Later, they pursued an MBA specializing in Human Resources at Charles Sturt University from 1997 to 2000.
