Jean-Baptiste Lamare has a diverse work experience. Jean-Baptiste currently holds the position of AI Scientist III at Covera Health since November 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Enlitic as a Senior Research Scientist from April 2021 to November 2021. In their role at Enlitic, they parsed and analyzed EHR and DICOM data to develop NLP models for classification and entity linking. Before Enlitic, Jean-Baptiste was a Graduate Research Assistant at Carnegie Mellon University - School of Computer Science - Language Technologies Institute from August 2017 to August 2019. During this time, they collected and labeled a dataset of tweets for public safety events and developed a Deep Learning system to identify useful tweets. Jean-Baptiste also designed a web interface for real-time visualization and user feedback. Jean-Baptiste Lamare has pursued an extensive education in the field of computer science and data science. From 2014 to 2017, they attended École Polytechnique, where they earned a bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. Following this, they enrolled at Carnegie Mellon University from 2017 to 2019 to obtain a Master of Science degree in Language Technologies. Concurrently, in 2017-2018, they also pursued a Master of Science degree in Data Science from École Polytechnique. Prior to their bachelor's degree, they attended Lycée du Parc from 2012 to 2014 for undergraduate preparatory classes.
