Dave Krause

Dave Krause has extensive work experience in various roles within the information technology field. Dave is currently serving as the Deputy Chief Information Officer at Covered California since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Driscoll's from 2019 to 2022, where they held the positions of Information Services Business Relationship Manager and R&D Digital Program Manager. Before joining Driscoll's, Dave worked at UCANR for a significant period starting from 2006. During their time at UCANR, they held multiple roles, including Interim Chief Information Officer and Manager of Web Development and Applications Programming. Dave also served as the Web Developer/Development Supervisor, where they were responsible for rebuilding and managing the enterprise content management system. Dave developed and enhanced various systems, tools, and services and trained numerous UC ANR personnel on technology usage. Earlier in their career, Dave worked as an Event and Trade Show Coordinator at the American Society for Enology and Viticulture from 1999 to 2006.

Dave Krause completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University-Sacramento from 1996 to 1998. In addition to their degree, they hold certifications in Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute, which they obtained in April 2022, Certified Scrum Master from the Scrum Alliance, obtained in November 2017, and ITIL Foundation Level from Pink Elephant, obtained in January 2017.
