José Miguel Fernandes

José Miguel Fernandes has been working in the finance industry since 2009. José Miguel started their career as a Junior Project Manager at CESO CI Internacional in 2009. In 2012, they worked as a Freelance Management Consultant at Bloom Consulting, where they were hired to bring in expertise on the Mozambican market. From 2013 to 2018, they worked as a Strategic Planner at DST Group. In 2018, they were appointed as Head of International Expansion at Indie Campers. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as Head of Finance at Coverflex, a company on a mission to improve the way companies compensate their people.

José Miguel Fernandes completed a Degree in Economics at Universidade do Porto from 2005 to 2009. José Miguel then went on to pursue a MsC in Finance & Strategic Management at Copenhagen Business School from 2010 to 2012. Finally, they obtained a Postgraduate Degree in International Business at Porto Business School from 2014 to 2015.
