Tiago Brito

Tiago Brito has a diverse work experience that spans over a decade. Tiago is currently working at Coverflex as the Head of Data, a position they started in 2023. Prior to this, Tiago served as the Head of Data & Analytics at Trouva from 2021 to 2023. During their time at Trouva, they played an instrumental role in building the Data & Analytics team from scratch and was responsible for architecture and supervising ELT with modern Data pipelines using DBT & Prefect. Tiago also had budget management and control responsibilities. Before their role at Trouva, Tiago worked as an Engineer Manager at the same company from 2021 to 2022.

From 2016 to 2021, Tiago worked at Uniplaces in various roles. Tiago served as the CTO from 2019 to 2021, where they contributed to defining the architecture, tools, and best practices, and ensured the adherence to deadlines and high standards of quality. As an Engineer Manager from 2017 to 2019, Tiago managed multiple teams, conducted 1:1s, performed job interviews, and conducted code reviews. At Uniplaces, they also held the positions of Lead Developer and Senior Software Engineer, where they focused on performance and Salesforce integration.

Tiago began their career as a Software Engineer at be.ubi in 2011, where they worked until 2015. Tiago also briefly worked as a Software Developer at Software With Emotion in 2013 and as a Programmer Analyst at GFI Portugal from 2010 to 2011.

Tiago Brito obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Departamento de Informática - Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia da Universidade Nova de Lisboa. Tiago attended this institution from 2005 to 2010. Following this, they pursued further education and obtained their Master's degree in Information Systems from the Universidade de Aveiro, attending from 2011 to 2015.
