Alex Pit

Alex Pit currently serves as the Director of Operations North America at Covestro since April 2021. Prior experience includes multiple roles at DSM from September 2014 to April 2021, such as Director of Operations North America and Director of Operational Excellence. Alex has a robust background in operations management and production, having held positions such as Plant Manager for Vitamin C Production and Production Manager for Evergreen Nylon Recycling at various DSM divisions. Earlier career experiences include roles as Lead Auditor and Process Engineer at DSM and Fluor Daniel, respectively. Alex Pit earned a Master of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Twente between 1987 and 1992.
