Gianmaria Malvestiti

Gianmaria Malvestiti has a strong background in the chemical industry, with extensive work experience at both Covestro and Bayer. At Covestro, they held various roles including Managing Director, Plant Manager, Global Compounding Technology Expert, and Head of PCS Compounding Operations. Gianmaria was responsible for managing the overall operations of the company and ensuring the smooth functioning of the Filago site. Prior to their tenure at Covestro, Gianmaria worked at Bayer for several years. Gianmaria served as the Head of Laboratories, where they oversaw the Color Competence Center and Quality Control Lab. Gianmaria was responsible for developing new color formulations, supporting production and marketing, and managing quality control processes. Gianmaria also gained experience in project management and quality control during their time at Bayer.

Gianmaria Malvestiti completed their education at the Università degli Studi di Milano from 1991 to 1996, where they studied Industrial Chemistry. Gianmaria did not obtain a specific degree during this time. Additionally, they obtained various certifications from Coursera, including "The Power of Macroeconomics: Economic Principles in the Real World" and "The Power of Microeconomics: Economic Principles in the Real World" in March 2014, "An Introduction to Corporate Finance" in December 2013, and "An Introduction to Operations Management" in November 2013.
