Matthew Stewart

Matthew Stewart is an accomplished scientist with extensive experience in the fields of chemistry and product development. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Covestro since October 2016, Matthew oversees technical development as the Global Technical Product Line Manager. Prior roles include Senior Associate Scientist at Covestro, where technical product management in coatings and adhesives was performed, and Senior Research Chemist I at PPG Industries, focusing on the formulation of advanced materials for lithium-ion batteries and automotive coatings. Earlier experience includes senior roles at Diagnostics for All, where Matthew developed innovative diagnostic tools, and Nano Terra, Inc., where Matthew led various research projects. Matthew earned a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Wittenberg University.
