Sebastian Mahler

Sebastian Mahler has worked at several companies in different roles over the years. Starting in 2006, they began their career as an Industrial Mechanic apprentice at Currenta GmbH & Co. OHG. Sebastian then transitioned to Bayer MaterialScience AG in 2008, where they worked as a TechTrain/Werksstipendiat before becoming a Project Manager/Projektleiter. In 2015, they joined Covestro and held various positions, including Project Manager/Projektleiter, Senior Project Consultant, and Senior Project Manager. Currently, they are serving as the Head of Engineering Management at Covestro.

Sebastian Mahler has a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Hochschule Niederrhein. Sebastian obtained this degree from 2006 to 2010. Additionally, they completed a professional education program in Industrial Mechanics from Industrie- und Handelskammer (IHK) during the period of 2006 to 2008.

Subsequently, Sebastian pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Duisburg-Essen, from 2010 to 2012.

In 2018, Sebastian joined the European Institute for Industrial Leadership (EIIL) for a program called Talent Team 2018, where they further enhanced their skills. This program lasted until 2019.

As for additional certifications, Sebastian obtained the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in June 2019.
