Wei Guo Lu

Wei Guo Lu has extensive work experience in various leadership positions. Wei Guo is currently serving as the Vice President at Covestro since July 2021. Prior to this role, they held the position of Vice President, Greater China at Covestro from October 2015.

Before joining Covestro, Wei Guo Lu worked at Axalta Coating Systems as a Business Director for Industrial Coatings from July 2013 to September 2015. Wei Guo also has experience working at DuPont, where they held managerial positions in the Performance Coatings division from September 2002 to August 2011. In addition, they served as the Business Manager for Building Innovations Greater China and General Manager for DuPont Guangzhou Surface Co. from August 2011 to July 2013.

Wei Guo Lu's career also includes earlier roles such as a Section Chief at the Ministry of Commerce, PRC from August 1991 to September 2000, and as a Third Secretary at the Chinese Embassy to Germany from January 1997 to July 1998.

Additionally, they have been involved in the Circular Economy Program China as the Country Leader since March 2020 at Coverstro.

Later, from 2000 to 2002, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in International Marketing at ESB Business School, Reutlingen University. In addition to their academic qualifications, Wei Guo Lu holds a certification in Six Sigma Green Belt from DuPont.
