Amy Sanford

Amy Sanford currently serves as Global General Counsel and CHRO at Covetrus since February 2024. Previously, Amy held the position of General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at US Anesthesia Partners from December 2015 to March 2024, where responsibilities included leadership in legal, compliance, risk management, and governance matters for the largest single specialty group of anesthesia providers in the U.S. Prior to that, Amy was Group General Counsel at DaVita from February 2012 to December 2015, overseeing a legal team supporting domestic kidney care operations. Additional roles include VP and Deputy General Counsel at Direct General Insurance and Vice President and Senior Counsel at Affinion Group. Amy began a legal career as an Associate at Harwell Howard Hyne Gabbert & Manner. Academic credentials include a JD from Yale Law School and a BA in Political Science and French, summa cum laude, from Murray State University.
