Steve Roy

Steve Roy is an experienced Senior Software Architect at Covetrus since November 2018, where responsibilities include providing architectural and technical guidance for the Global Prescription Management platform in collaboration with various software engineering teams. Proficient in technologies such as Amazon, Micro-services, Java, Spring/SpringBoot, and Kafka, Steve has a solid background in Agile and SAFE processes. Prior to Covetrus, Steve held various roles including Software Engineer at WEX, contributing to the Mobile platform and aiding in the migration to Amazon Cloud Computing, and receiving the WEX Global Technology Award for team efficiency. Additional experience spans several software engineering roles in companies such as LabNetwork, IDEXX, and Visa, with a foundational education from the University of Southern Maine.
