Kimya Zahedi

Kimya Zahedi currently serves as an Associate at CoveyLaw and has been a Director on the Board of Directors for Waterwell since September 2017, contributing to civic-arts initiatives and running theater education programs in New York City. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at Fragomen, specializing in employment-based immigration law, and serving in various legal and research roles, such as a Summer Law Clerk and Summer Legal Intern. Kimya has also been involved in advocacy as Chair of the March in March Committee for the United Nations Women for Peace Association, managing significant events to raise awareness against violence towards women. Educational credentials include a Juris Doctor from Fordham University School of Law, a Master of Arts in International Relations & International Economics from Johns Hopkins SAIS, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Development Studies & Critical Theory from Sarah Lawrence College.
