Emma Whalan

Emma Whalan has extensive experience in human resources and people management. Emma currently serves as the Head of People at Covidence.org, a non-profit SaaS enterprise focused on creating trustworthy summaries of scientific knowledge. Prior to this, they held roles as the Director of People and Culture at Opteon, where they served as a business partner and oversaw the company's people and culture initiatives. Emma also worked as a Human Capital BP at TTEC and held positions in HR consulting at SEEK, IAG, and FCB Consulting on-site at Relative Mirait. Emma Whalan also gained experience in human resources at Gen-i, Travelex, Procter & Gamble, and BIG W.

Emma Whalan attended the University of Newcastle from 2004 to 2006, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Management. During their time at the university, they focused their studies on Human Resources and Marketing.
