Spencer Nelson

Spencer Nelson has extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as the Sr. Director of Credit and Receivables Management and Sr. Director of Revenue Accounting at Cox Automotive Inc. since December 2018. Prior to this role, Spencer held the position of Controller and Assistant Controller at AutoTrader.com from July 2007 to September 2022. Earlier career experience includes serving as Assistant Controller at BellSouth Long Distance from January 2003 to June 2007 and as an Internal Auditor at BellSouth Internal Audit from 1999 to 2002. Spencer holds a Master of Accountancy in Accounting from The University of Georgia, earned between 1996 and 1997, and a Bachelor's degree from Samford University, completed in 1996.
