Joseph Weitekamp

Joseph Weitekamp is an experienced thermal engineer currently employed at Cox & Company since October 2020, where responsibilities include setting up and acquiring test data for aircraft heating components and creating FEA simulations using ANSYS Fluent. Prior to this role, Joseph worked as a Packaging & Engineering Consultant at The Estée Lauder Companies Inc., focusing on industrial printing techniques, and as an Energy & Sustainability Intern at Weil Cornell Medicine, developing weather regression models. Joseph also gained experience as an Engineering Aide Intern at Con Edison, examining city roadways for safety, and as a College Aide at the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene, auditing HVAC and lighting systems. Joseph holds both a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Manhattan University.
