John Lord

John Lord is an experienced professional in energy management and education, currently serving as the Coordinator III of Energy Management at Fairfax County Public Schools since July 2019. In this role, John oversees multiple teams focused on building automation, capital asset engineering, and energy conservation training. Prior to this position, John worked as an Energy Education Specialist at Loudoun County Public Schools, co-managing an extensive Energy & Environment Program. Earlier in their career, John served as a Spanish teacher at Amelia County Public Schools and contributed to various extracurricular activities while also managing energy initiatives. Additionally, John has experience in providing fun and engaging experiences as a tractor and hay-ride driver for Cox Farms. John holds a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language and Literature from Colorado State University.
