Jennifer Smit

Jennifer Smit is an Associate at Cox Yeats Attorneys, specializing in commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, administrative law, construction law, and insurance law since November 2021. Jennifer was admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court and enrolled as an attorney, becoming part of the Insolvency and Business Rescue Team in Durban in September 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Candidate Attorney at Johnston & Partners and a Legal Intern at Pearce, Du Toit and Moodie. Additionally, Jennifer has held various roles in customer service and sports coaching while completing education, which includes a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of KwaZulu-Natal and vocational training at the University of South Africa.
